Who we are
Nashville AI Club is a student-run club for Nashville-area high school students. For anything on this page — including a request to review or delete information about you or your student — contact us through the chatbot on this site. We deliberately do not publish an email address, to keep the club free of spam.
What we collect
- Join requests: signup is handled on the Valor FACE site. This site does not collect signup information.
- Chatbot conversations: the questions you type are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the answer. We do not require your name and you should not enter personal information into the chatbot.
- Basic technical data: aggregate page-view statistics (no advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling).
- Photographs: pictures of students are published only when a signed media release is on file.
How we use it
To answer questions asked through the chatbot and to run and improve club programs. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party AI services
Answers from the on-site assistant are generated by third-party large-language-model providers. Your message and the site content used to answer it may be processed by those providers under their own terms. Do not submit confidential or personal information to the assistant.
Students and minors
Our programs serve high school students, most of whom are minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to review or delete information about their student, including photographs, and we will act on that request.
Photos and media releases
Student photographs, names and project write-ups are published only with a signed media release held by the club. Releases can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us through the chatbot; we remove the material from the site.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies needed to operate (for example, remembering chatbot consent or an administrator login). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.
Retention
Chatbot conversation records are kept for a limited period and then deleted, and you can ask us through the chatbot to delete one at any time.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date below.
